What is the difference? Social Distancing, Isolation and Quarantine.

What is Social Distancing? This is keeping your distance from another person. Social distancing should be practiced by everyone infected or not infected. Social Distancing includes: Avoiding Handshakes Avoiding Crowds Keeping at least 2meters away from people while outside Last but not least staying at home. What is Isolation? Can animals get infected with COVID-19?

Does the new coronavirus(COVID-19) affect animals? The answer is yes. Animals can get infected with a virus. Some researches are suggesting that cats and dogs can get infected by the virus. A research conducted in china stated that a dog has tested positive after remaining with its owners who were sick with the virus. However, the dog wasn't showing any symptoms of the illness. Currently, there is no evidence that the virus can be spread through dogs. There is some interesting news that a tiger in the Bronx zoo in New York has tested positive. The tiger was tested after it fell ill along with six other tigers and lions. This definitely can shed some light on whether or not animals could get infected with the coronavirus.  The best way to protect yourself and your pets from getting infected is prevention . Restricting any contact with infected pets or persons is the best way to keep yourself and your pets safe. To get a more in-depth view on the topic visit: Co

What happens if you get the coronavirus(COVID-19)

The virus initially enters our body through inhaling microdroplets or inoculating ourselves by our contaminated hands. Then the virus first attaches to our throat after that the virus multiplies and migrates to the lower part of the respiratory system like our lungs.  Our immune system tries to fight the virus off causing fever and headache.  In severe cases the virus causes lung inflammation making breathing difficult, this is what causes the dry cough. in some severe cases, the virus causes enough damage to the lung that our lungs fill up with fluid causing pneumonia.
